Job Description:
The Survey Technician position requires a team oriented candidate capable of performing field work in various weather and site conditions, in addition to some office work that includes deed research and analysis, processing of raw field data, survey calculations and mapping.
The ideal candidate will have previous exposure (either through work related experience or classroom instruction) to GPS surveying, traditional surveying methods, boundary analysis. AutoCAD drafting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will also have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record. Praetorius and Conrad, PC would welcome and support anyone working towards their LS license.
Job Qualifications
- 2 years field experience preferred.
- Skilled in the use of GPS devices, survey and drafting technologies, data collectors.
- Ability to work well on a team.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Basic computer skills.
